Tartan Tuesdays

Throughout the academic year, students like you are encouraged to wear Carnegie Mellon University apparel to show their Tartan pride. Participating is simple — just sport the latest bookstore gear, your worn-in student organization shirt, a simple CMU baseball cap or any CMU swag every Tuesday.

During the fall semester, stop by the Alumni House (5017 Forbes Ave.) on Tuesdays from August 27 through May 6 from noon to 5 p.m. to earn special rewards and new swag!

Note: Tartan Tuesday will not occur on October 15 due to fall break or March 4 due to spring break.

Prizes and Redemptions

Tartan Tuesday participants have the chance to win prizes and more CMU apparel when visiting the Alumni House by spinning the “Tartan Wheel” to win points, which can be accumulated and redeemed for prizes only during Tartan Tuesdays operating hours — Tuesdays from noon to 5 p.m. Prizes are limited.
